GrantScape, has launched a grant programmes to support nature conservation and the UK’s precious biodiversity.The £1.3 million "Working with Nature" programme will support nationally-important biodiversity projects in England and Wales. Projects must demonstrate that they support priority habitats and/or species listed within the UK Biodiversity Action Plan. The application deadline is April 6th 2009. Project sites must be within 10 miles of any licensed landfill site. Minimum grant level is £150,000
