Sustaining a Living Wales- a Green Paper on a new approach to natural resource management in Wales

The consultation is seeking views on the proposed changes to the governance and delivery of the management and regulation of the environment in Wales, based on the ecosystem approach. The closing date for the consultation is 31st May 2012

Single Environment Body for Wales

A decision to bring together the Forestry Commission Wales, Countryside Council for Wales and the Environment Agency Wales in a single body has been taken by John Griffiths, Welsh Government Environment minister.

Ecosystem Funding announced
The Welsh Government have announced £1 million in funding to support the development of projects to enhance ecosystem resilience and diversity. The funding will be available for activities that support the Welsh Government’s plans for managing the natural environment as set out in its Natural Environment Framework.
